Consumer Action's web site site (www.consumer-action.org) has a collection of helpful easy to read articles on how to manage your credit score and choose the best credit cards.
American Express (www.americanexpress.com) offers consumer tips such as money management, fraud protection and safe online shopping.
Brochures are available to families, including information for parents educating their children. Educational credit card brochures are available in Chinese, English, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese.
This program was launched in 2005 in Oakland, California. It spread to Washington D.C, Dallas and New York. These year, additional cities are boing added: Plantation, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona and Birmingham, Alabama.
