The Fair Credit Reporting Act Entitles Consumers to One Free Credit Report Per Year
Published on December 12, 2006 10:35 AM ESTA credit report is an important collection of information about you, including your home address, employment history, credit history and other data that are used when you apply for a loan.
According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), consumers are entitled to receive a free copy of their credit report once every 12 months from each of the credit agencies - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
The free report can be obtained from www.annualcreditreport.com.
